PEDRO CAPÓ Presents his Most Personal Album Yet, “La Carretera”

Puerto Rican sensation PEDRO CAPÓ is back with his latest album, La Carretera, a 14-track collection that brings together collaborations including Jorge Drexler, Chambao, and Carin León. Venturing to Nashville, Tennessee, Capó recorded the album entirely in analog, embracing acoustic and folk elements while staying true to his signature Latin pop style.
“This is the most comfortable and honest album of my career,” Capó shares. “It’s a legitimate portrait, both musically and personally. The creative process forced me into self-reflection, to understand where I am and who I am, capturing the visceral side of music. Authenticity is what brings comfort; it’s about being real, not trying to innovate for innovation’s sake, but simply sharing what is true within me.”
Fans can catch this intimate side of Pedro Capó live at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan on February 8, marking his grand return to the island’s biggest stage after more than two years.
